The Mall that Will Have it All! American Dream - Every Parents Dream Destination

American Dream - Every Parents Dream Destination

With the turning of the leaves, New Jersey will be turning into even more of a destination to visit, but now closer to NYC, we will have the American Dream.  American Dream is not just a mega mall, it’s your one-stop destination for shopping, dining, relaxation, and play all in NYC’s backyard!

The American Dream will be located in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey and is being completed by Triple Five Group. Slated to open officially to the public October 25, 2019, American Dream will be available for holiday shoppers and curious New Jerseyians and New Yorkers who have been waiting for this amazing new destination to open, including me.

Plenty to do for any age!

Boasting hundreds of stores, an indoor Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park (16 acres of indoor family fun!), ; Big SNOW Ski and Snowboard Parka first of its kind in North America; the Ice Rink – NHL‐size skating and hockey facility, and newly announced Angry Birds 18‐hole Miniature Golf experience.

The Angry Birds 18-hole Mini Golf Experience will be sure to delight pre-schoolers and older kids! Each miniature golf ball will be shipped like your favorite angry bird. With Angry Birds coming out this summer, it’s just perfect timing to include such a fun and iconic character set within this fantastic setting. In addition to Angry Birds, expect to a Merlin Entertainment’s LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Sea Life Aquarium, New Jersey Hall of Fall, American Dream 300 FT tall Observation Wheel with a view of Manhattan, CMX Luxury Movie Theatre, Mirror Maze, a Performing Arts Center, and Kidzania - a fun role-playing facility for kids ages one to 14 where an urban metropolis comes to life and your kids can be the citizens, and plenty of great places to eat. I failed to mention the rock climbing wall, too! This is just the icing on the cake. We’re still getting more information about more tenants coming to this amazing 3-million square foot space.

The tri-state area will not want for anything to do for a long time as it seems like there will always be something new at the American Dream. This facility is not just for kids, but geared toward every age set. American Dream will be available year-round for everyone young and old. I’m hoping for an on-site hotel for fun weekend getaways, plus I think you need a couple of days to explore. This facility alone will bring in thousands of jobs to the area, too. From the upscale shops to the chain stores, theme park, entertainment, creative shops, learning centers, and more; there is plenty of work to go around.

Where’s the Eats?!

Have a nosh or a smorgasbord at one of 100 eateries including 20 full-service restaurants, in addition to a Coca-Cola “Eats” Food Hall and Kosher Food Hall. American Dream’s collaboration with Coca-Cola will also span across the American Dream with an infusion of Coca-Cola drink products as well as incorporating Coca-Cola in the cuisine. Coca-Cola drinking company has also taken a huge technological step forward in including a Coca-Cola Lounge, and including the Coca-Cola brand across the mall. Coca-Cola is synonymous with the American Dream itself as Coca-Cola products have around since the turn of the 20th century, it’s the only beverage that has seen more than two wars. Coca-Cola will also be hosting events with influencers and well-known personalities to spread the word about the offerings that American Dream and Coca-Cola have to offer to their guests.

“Coca-Cola is the American Dream,” said Don Ghermezian, President, American Dream. “The Coca-Cola Company is unmatched globally and when two best-in-class brands come together, the possibilities are endless. At the American Dream, we are giving Coca-Cola the stage to interact with guests like never before, weaving their products through all facets of our one-of-a-kind community.”

Luxury shops are already confirmed to be glittering the mall. With stores like Hermes, Tiffany & Company, Dolce Gabbana, Moncler, Watches of Switzerland, and anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York, shoppers will be impressed with the penultimate luxury shopping experience.

The American Dream is a city in it of itself. With levels of shops, dining, and plenty to do, the American Dream is a self-contained attraction - a place to forget the world outside and eat, play, and be merry! I am counting down the days until it opens, so we can spend the day or even two days at the coolest shopping paradise to open in a long time.
