How to Create Party Viking Helmet for Toy Story Partysaurus Rex! | #NowMoreThanEver Disney Playdate

How to Create Party Viking Helmet for Toy Story’s Partysaurus Rex!

Don’t be a party pooper, and join in on the fun! Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is hosting H2O Glow Nights Pool Party on select nights until August 24, 2019! Now more than ever s the perfect time to visit Disney Parks.

If a trip to Disney isn't in the cards right now, then bring the party at home just like Partysaurus Rex does with this fun craft to add to your own Toy Story Rex toy. We hosted a #NowMoreThanEver Disney Playdate, and we had a bunch of kiddie pools, glow sticks, a bubble maker provided by Gazillion Bubbles by Funrise, dollar store water toys, water balloons provided by ZURU, and some fun music to groove to while the kids splashed and partied! Did everything go as planned? Nope! However, we had a blast! If you want to make your Partysaurus Rex staked Viking party helmet, see instructions below, and check out my easy tutorial video.

  • Viking Helmet (purchased off of Amazon - it’s by Kangaroo Manufacturing - contains Affiliate Link)
  • 24 pieces of red pipe cleaner
  • Glue gun or Elmer’s Glue
  • Clear tape - to reinforce the squid tentacles (hair poking out of the viking helmet)
  • Popping beads to recreate his necklace
  • Black and White beads to recreate his necklace
  • Peace sign charm to attached to RAINBOW popping beads
  • Black pipe cleaner to recreate black and white necklace
  • Optional REX letter for necklace

You need to make a setting to really give the kids the feel of Partysaurus Rex. Start up a bubble machine, pop the glow sticks, crank up the dance music, and just have fun!

Bubbles (lots of bubbles!)
Fun - hahah!

Check out our #NowMoreThanEver Disney Playdate to see this hat in action! You can also watch my tutorial video here.

Have fun!
